Today’s recipe is what I like to call “Yummy Mummies“. This is probably one of the EASIEST recipes on the planet. You may even have these ingredients in your house right now!
Below is a photo of how ours came out (under the recipe). They’re cute, fun and oh so yummy!
Ingredients:
- Hot dogs
- Can of crescent roll dough (any brand is fine)
- Mustard
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degree’s.
2. Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the entire sheet. Separate each crescent and slice then into long, thin strips. Cut the croissant or a sheet of dough into strips.
3. Cut the hot dogs in half and wrap the dough around each one, to your liking. No need to be perfect as mummy’s are tattered and imperfect. If you find that one of the long, thin dough pieces is too much, feel free to cut off the excess and use it on another hot dog.
4. Place your mummies on a baking sheet (about an inch apart) and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
5. Allow them to cool briefly and give those mummies some eyes, by applying 2 little mustard dots where their eyes should be.
